Services

Sakai supports either LTI 1.1 or 1.3

LTI 1.3 Tool Keyset / JWK URL (provided by the tool)
 https://au-tools.learnsci.com/enrol/lti/jwks.php
LTI 1.3 Tool OpenID Connect/Initialization Endpoint (provided by the tool)
Unique address provided by LearnSci (please request if you don’t have this)
LTI 1.3 Tool Redirect Endpoint(s) (comma separated and provided by the tool)
 https://au-tools.learnsci.com/enrol/lti/launch_deeplink.php

5. In the section labelled ‘These values can be provided to an LTI 1.3 tool using dynamic registration or by providing these values to the tool manually. These values are generated by Sakai and are readonly.’ Please copy all of the fields and return the values to LearnSci.

6. Select "Save".

7. Inform LearnSci that the tool has been added and configured. The tool setup will be completed and you will be informed when the tool is ready for you to test.

8. To test, go to a course and add a text item under ‘lessons’ with a teacher account, then click ‘select content’.

You should be able to use the course filter to switch between available content, and then select items from the list to add to your course. Once done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘add content’.

The tool should now be available to add to Lessons or Assignments, or anywhere the text editor is used in the course. Note that it’s only possible to add multiple items in a single launch of the tool when using the text editor option.
